We could be great friends with any of our clients but especially people like Ellamay + Mike. They are so laid back and cool and a lot of fun to be around. We had a blast. Leah + Michael were the first of our two weddings this past weekend, and definitely turned out to be one of our favorites of the year! They are such amazing people and we promise were not just saying that. Their wedding was so unique and different and we absolutely loved it. It also probably didn't hurt that we got to work with one of our favorite coordinators again too, Paige Chenault. And Urban Blossom did such a gorgeous job on the flowers too. And have we mentioned how much we LOVE outdoor ceremonies? (We know we have been slackin' on blogging! We will get back to our normal schedule next week) :) Casey + Brian were married recently in Midland, Texas. We made the short flight over there and had so much fun. While in Midland we went to a Drive In for the very first time and it was awesome! I was giddy like a little kid. Casey + Brian are some of the sweetest people we have ever met, the night before the wedding was our first time meeting them but it really felt like we had known each other for a while. They are great people and are so loved by everyone. It was so evident by the people that were surrounding them. Casey + Brian, Thank you so much for allowing us to share in your joy. Last week in the midst of our crazy lives we headed out to Midland to shoot a wedding and then headed straight from Midland to New Orleans for the Image X Workshop. We always walk away from any convention/seminar with great friends and newly inspired and energized about our business. Even if we learn one single thing that will improve us as photographers, it makes it all worth it. We are always striving to be better we were yesterday. Jessica Claire was by far more than what we ever expected. We had never met her before but she was amazing. Completely open and honest with us... it was so refreshing. Victor Sizemore taught us so many cool light-room tips, as well as shared his actions with us, which are pretty cool! On the first day of shooting with Jessica, everyone had to make sure they got 3 different shots. One of them was "Make sure you take a picture that you think defines your style." Our brains were boggled for a few minutes but here are our two shots. Such different perspectives, we loved it. Didn't hurt that the models were so gorgeous. Tanya's shot:
