| So as long as I can remember I have wanted a white Christmas tree, like those grand and beautiful ones you see at the major department stores. Every year Cesar and I would go to the store but they’re so expensive it’s was always hard to shell out a few hundred dollars during the holiday season when there are so many other things to buy. But this year proved to be a great year for me. We found a great artificial white Christmas tree that wasn't ridiculously priced. I was like a little kid again, so excited about our Christmas tree. I have posted a picture below, it's a work in progress! :) |

| Favorites of 2007 : Engagements |
|
So we come to the close of this amazing year and we would like to reflect on all of the good. We know we have been really bad bloggers lately but we have been furiously editing weddings and sessions. We got the idea to do best of 2007 pictures from a few other photographers Becker and the Boutwells... They both rock! We wanted to keep it to a max of 20, and boy was it hard! We will be doing some of our favorites from our weddings this year as well, later this week.
** By the way, we saw Juno last night and it is hilarious. Everyone should go see it! :) |

Ann drove down from Houston to get her bridal done this past weekend. Because there was a 70% chance of rain Ann booked the Meyerson Symphony Center as a backup to have a place to shoot indoors. I'm so glad she did! The place is beautiful and the lighting is always amazing in there. She looked absolutely stunning. Thankfully we were able to get a few shots outdoors as well. We can't wait till their wedding next month!

| Chelsea + Brandon : Engagement |
|
Chelsea + Brandon are such a cute couple and sooo incredibly photogenic. I had a blast hanging out with them for this shoot and getting to know them a bit better. Brandon is a drummer so they wanted to incorporate his drum set into the pictures. I could not ask for more! I absolutely love it when there are things that reflect their lives or something they enjoy. Just makes it all the more fun. Chelsea + Brandon, I look forward to working with you guys again in the future. Hope you like these! :)

| Kathryn + Andrew : Wedding |

| We had the pleasure of shooting Kathryn + Andrew's wedding this past weekend. They are soooo sweet and so laid back it was a breeze! We felt like we were among friends. The ceremony was held at the beautiful Perkins Chapel. The light is awesome in this place even at 7 p.m. at night. ☺ And the reception was held at Victoria Hall. Kathryn + Andrew thanks for being so welcoming and fun. You guys rock! Hope you’re having a great honeymoon! |

| Samantha + Robert : Engagement |
|
Samantha + Robert are my 06/07/08 couple. :) They are super adorable together and so in love. I had never actually met Robert so I enjoyed meeting him and had a lot of fun getting to know Samantha a bit more. We can't wait till next year! Samantha + Robert, hope you guys like these and hope the drive back to College station wasn't too rough.
*On a side note* We will be shooting Kathryn + Andrew's wedding tomorrow and can't wait. So stay tuned! We are approaching some much needed down time but we will definitely try to keep you guys entertained. :)

Had the chance to shoot another kid session. I really love doing these. Mackenzie is 4 years old and sooooooo cute! I absolutely loved her outfit! She was sooo shy at first but loosened up after a while. This park was great also, so many colors! Mackenzie's parents were referred to us by Brien and Brandy, some old clients of ours. :) Thanks guys! Look forward to seeing Mackenzie and her parents again soon!

| Glenda + Jose : Engagement |
|
So we know Jose from a friend of a friend and were honored when he and Glenda chose us to shoot their wedding. They are such a cute couple and are so in love. They will be getting married on March 1st, it's crazy how fast the time flies. We remember JUST celebrating Tanya's birthday and now its been 2 months since then. Life flies by! Sometimes you forget to enjoy it as you should.

| Debbie + Jay : Wedding |

| We had the chance to shoot Debbie + Jay's wedding this weekend. They were married at such a beautiful church, we fell in love with it. The reception was held at Coyote Ridge Golf Course in Carrollton and it was gorgeous too. We had a lot of fun with these two, everyone was so kind and welcoming.
