Stephanie + Ulises are getting married this coming up September at the amazing W Hotel in Dallas and we can't wait! We had to cancel previously due to the horrible rain and am so glad we were able to get this re-scheduled. Aren't they a hot couple? Here are some of our favorites: Stephanie + Ulises, I had a great time getting to know you guys a bit more and we can't wait till the bridal! I have some neat ideas. :)
Beverly + Elias were married this past weekend at the beautiful Dallas Arboretum. They were the first to get married at the particular spot they chose so it was amazing. Their wedding completly rocked our worlds. We both listen to hip-hop music, but that old school funky kind that not most listen to as well as ALL other kinds and thats what was played! Definitely a first. One of our favorites yet! :) Doesn't hurt that everyone was gorgeous! The reception was held at the super cool Hickory Street Annex and the flowers were done by the great ladies at Your Perfect Wedding. Beverly + Elias, we look forward to seeing you guys again soon! :)
So as I (Tanya) posted earlier this week I am at the Love Affair Workshop in beautiful Bald Head Island, North Carolina. I imagined something beautiful but not this amazing. I arrived yesterday and we had a great welcome dinner. Today we have been learning so much that I know will be useful in our business as well as our personal lives. I will post a small recap when I get back but here are a few of my shots from our first shoot for now. I miss the hustle and bustle of Dallas weirdly enough, but more than anything I miss my Cesar! :(
Here are some of our favorites from Larissa + Frank's engagement shoot last week. They are getting married this April in Denton, and we have yet to shoot in Denton so it should be fun! :)
By the way, I (Tanya) will be off to North Carolina early tomorrow morning for the Love Affair Workshop. It is a workshop being conducted by a few photographers that I admire for their work but also for the way they are. You can never stop learning and growing. So it should be a fun experience. I will try and post as many pictures as I can. I hear internet is patchy on the island we will be on. Until then I will miss my Cesar. :( (This is the first time in 7 years we will be away from each other for longer than just 2 or 3 days)

Here are a few from a recent session I did with Jessica + Eddie: They wanted to try something new and wanted shots of them just being themselves at home. Eddie loves to cook and also plays several instruments and Jessica has a jewelry line so they are super talented couple. Eddie is also creative director for a company called WorldVentures. He did the intro video on the website which is awesome. You all MUST check it out.

Glenda is getting married really soon! Two weeks actually. Glad she was able to get her dress back in time to get these done. Her dress is gorgeous and she is a lot of fun to shoot. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot. (My favorites were the ones in this random park) :)
On a side note: Today is Fernando's birthday. Fernando is not only related to me (Tanya) but he is also Cesar's best friend. He is one of the most selfless and kindest person we know. He is the type of person that would do anything to help someone out. You can't ask for a better friend than that! We wouldn’t trade him in for the world. So we had to give him a little shout out! Happy Birthday Fernando! We love you. :)

From the moment they were born Nadia + Jocelyn have melted our hearts. Their birthdays are tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday so we had to post something for them. Check it out! (We won't be posting much this weekend so stay tuned on Monday) We will be celebrating with them tomorrow at their schools with cupcakes and juice. Oh the sweet memories!
Recently I was able to attend an awesome workshop, The Get Real Workshop held here in Dallas, with the great Huy as the instructor. I have attended this workshop before in Seattle and loved it. We truly feel that attending workshops on a regular basis helps us to grow. At least once a year! Meeting new people is always great too. We also have more than a few for later this year with some incredible talent that we're really excited about.
Anyway! While at the workshop Huy showed us a video like this one and we just had to try it. So we want to credit him for the inspiration.

Thanks to the people who sent well wishes, thankfully I am feeling better today. Still feeling a bit under the weather but definitely better than the last couple of days.

Hello everyone! We have a few great shoots to blog and will resume posting hopefully tomorrow evening. Cesar has been sick for a little while and today we finally made it to the doctor because it didn't seem like he was getting any better. I said, "Go to the doctor and get some medicine now." (two weeks ago) but he kept refusing as he always does. I don't know why guys hate going to the doctor. Anyway! We were told he had almost a 101 fever and a really bad cold. Cesar is always the one who never gets sick but this crazy weather has been so unforgiving. Has anyone not been sick this season? So as he is sound asleep and has been for the last few hours, please send him some get-well wishes so he gets better soon! – Tanya
